The Drawer Templates folder, which must be placed in the same folder as the Drop Drawers application, contains example drawers to help you get started using Drop Drawers. Whenever a template is opened, Drop Drawers automatically makes a copy of it into the Drawers folder of your Preferences folder and then opens that copy, leaving the original template file intact. When Drop Drawers is launched for the first time, every template in this folder will be opened once, creating an example set of drawers.
Creating your own drawer template is very simple. Any ordinary drawer file can be converted into a template by choosing Get Info on that file in the Finder and checking the Stationery Pad box. Before doing this, the drawer should have been closed in Drop Drawers, otherwise any changes made will affect the template file.
Templates (just like drawers) can be placed anywhere on any disk. However, if you want the template to be accessible from the New submenu of Drop Drawers' File menu, you should place it in this folder.
